Please will those of you who are healers, help by sending out prayers to those named on my healing list.  It measns a lot to me to be able to help.  The more of us who send out healing thoughts, the more the person will benefit and there are so many needy folk out there.

Thank you so much.

Some mediums can see auras.  Not all of them though.  You can sometimes teach yourself how to see them but you will need a lot of patience and continued practice.

The auras are made up of all the rainbow colours.  The colours are often varying shades and pulsate.  The aura can be quite well spread out from the persons material body.

The idea of reading them is mostly reading the colours.  Again, a lot of work with the spirit guide will be  priceless.  The partnership is invaluable.  Apart from the colour itself, the density of the colour is also important.

Some mediums and healers can actually diagnose illness by examining the aura.  But, never have this instead of a doctors examination.  The two would be good though.

The chakras are part of the etheric body, at certain points corresponding to the material body. The important thing here is the colour of them.  If you use this blogs search facility at the right side of this page, you can learn more about the chakras.

If you focus on the colour of certain chakras, you will be able to develop certain psychic senses.  Again, dedication is required.  Not to mention determination and persistence.

More on colour tomorrow!

Colour can be used in Spiritual healing.  It can also be used as a tool to send out absent healing.  This is something I do regularly, to send healing to all those on my website healing list.

As you will be aware, lots of people send in names to my website.  They are the names of friends and loved ones who are unwell or going through bereavement.  They are all in need of healing for one reason or another.  Most of us need it at sometime.

A good way to send out the absent healing is with colour,  Colours can have personal connotations.  I find that using blue for this purpose works just right.  Blue is a soothing, comforting colour.  The colour of the sky and the oceans. The oceans and the seas are the colour of life, since without water we are nothing.

Here is a simple way for you to send out your own absent healing, to help a loved one.

Sit quietly in a meditative state.  This can be with or without music in the background.  Visualise your ‘patient’ lying on a bed in the centre of a room.  Send out a prayer asking spirit to help you.  Visualise a large cloud of soothing blue.  Send out the cloud to the patient.  Make the cloud envelop their entire body.

Send out your most loving an healing thoughts whilst the patient is within the blue cloud.  You will instinctively know when it is time to stop.  At the end of your session it is good to send out a prayer of thanks.

I hope this helps you.  It is not only those with a certificate who can send out healing.  All you need is love!

Colour is a big part of our lives.  Without it the world would be a far more miserable place to be.  Without the blue sky and the green grass, the yellow sunshine and the flowers of many colours, how dull it would be.

As a medium, colour is very important to me.  I use colour in my readings and to send out absent healing.  The colours I wear have an effect on my moods too.  Have you noticed it with yourself?  If i wear nice bright colours I feel more exuberant and outgoing.  If i wear darker colours, my mood is much more subdued.

Our auras are colourful too, and the colours prominent in them show us a lot about the person it belongs to.  Not only the colours, but the shades and depths of each colour.  An aura reader can tell about our mood and our health by studying the colours.

We also have Chakras.  These are based in areas around our body and cannot be seen with the naked eye.  You need a clairvoyant for this.  Although, you can teach yourself to see auras and you may be able to teach yourself to see chakras or at least become aware of them.

As a medium, I have learned the meaning of the colours, and with the help of my spirit guides I can give mediumistic messages whilst reading them.  It has to be a partnership with the spirit and the reader.  Otherwise you are only left with psychometry.

More on this subject tomorrow.

Among the items discussed will be auras and chakras.  Psychic centres and  the use of ribbons for giving readings.  If there is anything in particular you would like me to cover then please email me here.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  Back tomorrow.

Spiritual Healing is a wonderful thing and if you have the gift it is awesome!

Although there are now rules within the EC ,about who can and who cannot give hands on spiritual healing, it does not count if you give it absently.

It used to be that if you went to a spiritualist church, you could take part in the healing service and give hands on healing yourself, if the spirit inspired you.  Sadly, those days are long gone. The EC rules have put paid to that.

Now people have to sit tests and practice with others, to get a certificate.  This certificate gives them the right to practice healing, even if they have no healing gift!  Stupid, in my humble opinion.

I have had wonderful healing from those who have no certificate.  I have also had the hands of those with the certificates placed on me, with no healing result whatsoever, because they lack the gift..

When a healer is truly gifted, you can feel the energy from them and their hands.  Those not gifted in this way give off nothing at all and should leave it alone.

To send absent healing you just need to have empathy and the desire to help.  You send out your love and your healing thoughts.

A nice way to do this is to imagine the person who is in need.  Visualise them lying on a bed.  Picture a large blue cloud of healing energy and send it to the sick person.  Visualise the healing cloud enveloping the image of the person.  Concentrate your energy on them for a few minutes before saying a short prayer of thanks.

If you would like a friend or loved ones name put on my healing list, please email me.

Saturday was the day I worked at Whitham Road’s Psychic Fair, to help raise funds for the church.  It was a lovely day with plenty of visitors to the fair, and plenty of workers too.

There were stalls selling books, crystals, tarot and Angel cards and lots of other interesting items.  The church president, Tim Doyle had a stall where he displayed his crystal ball and gave readings throughout the event.

Healing was a major part of the event.  There were spirit healers on hand.  Reiki and Indian head massage with crystal healing too.  Lots of people were having taster treatments.

There were several other mediums, including myself, who gave private readings all through the day.  There was also a tarot reader. I personally was inundated with sitters queuing up for ribbon readings.  I was meant to have a break from 1 to 2pm but ended up working straight through as my queue never ended.

It was a very busy but spiritually rewarding time.  I trust the church is happy with the amount of funds it created.  All mediums gave their time free, of course and all money went to the church funds.

I met some lovely people during the fair and although some of them were in tears during their reading, they assured me that I gave them good evidence.

It often happens, in my experience, that a sitter will be moved to tears when a loved one, whom they are waiting to hear from, finally comes through with a loving message.  Well worth the hard work!!!

As my reguIar readers will know, we had a healing event, during which we focused our attentions on Carol Booth.  Carol being a cancer sufferer and going through all kinds of medical treatment.

I  promised you updates on Carols progress. I know from emails that you are keen to know just how she is.

Carol is doing really well! The cancer has responded to all the agressive treatment and she is now in remission.

The other good news is that she is now well enough to start work again.  Although she lost her job whilst going through the cancer treatment, it hasn’t deterred her from finding a new job.

So a very big thank you to all those of you who took part in our Healing Event’!  And Good Luck to Carole for her healthy future.

Sitting in the power is something mediums do to build up the energy , often before working or giving a reading. It can also be used by anyone who wishes to feel the peace which comes from the spiritual energy.

It is good for mediums to meditate for this is the way to contact guides and learn from them.  It is also a good way to test out your communications with your guides.

The best way to achieve your goal is to play some really good meditation recordings, such as Buddhist chants.  Close your eyes and go through the opening process.  When the chakras are opened you should just sit quietly and feel the power.

Drink in the atmosphere and you will really feel the power that builds up around you.

When you have finished sitting in the power it is a good idea to ask for the energy which as built up to be used as healing for an absent loved one.  That way you will not be trouble by unused energy.

You will soon benefit from sitting in the power if you do it regularly for a few weeks.  Enjoy!!

I am often asked how to begin developing spiritual gifts such as mediumship and healing. There is such a lot more interest in the subject than there used to be, and people want to be able to develop safely and in the best manner possible.

In my experience there is no replacement for meditation as a big part of development.  Firstly, learning to open up the psychic centres (see earlier posting) and then meditating to learn awareness of the spirit and  meeting your spiritual guide. You need to get to know your guide as early as possible but not every one does. Some never meet their guide. You can still work as a medium without having done so. I do not know why this is, but meditation still helps you develop your gifts.

It is possible to meditate to music or to sounds of nature, but I find guided meditation, with an aim and a goal, to be the best kind in the early stages. Guided meditations help keep you on track and can deter your ever wandering mind from straying. I have recorded my own meditations both for opening up and for guiding you on a spiritual journey.

It is impossible to stop your mind from working. If you have a tutor who tells you to stop your mind working then please find a new tutor. Your mind will carry on working even though you are meditating but it does not stop you from doing it. You will become accustomed to it all eventually and will learn to still your mind instead.

The ideal thing to do is follow the instructions on your guided journey and if you find your mind straying, just bring your awareness back to the voice on the tape and carry on your journey. It is so simple. Having said that, meditating did not come easy to me either, but I wouldn’t ‘sit’ without it now.

I hope you will try meditating either by yourself, or with a few friends, or even in a circle. I know many of you will find it rewarding. If you are feeling unwell you can do a healing meditation. It may surprise you how well you feel afterwards. You can also use it to send absent healing thoughts out to loved ones and friends.

Good luck with it.
