There is to be a Psychic Fair at Whitham Road Spiritualist Church in Sheffield on Saturday 2nd July. It will run from 11am and finish at 4pm.

There will be experienced mediums and novice mediums to give readings. There will also be Tarot and Angel Card Readers.

Spiritual Healing and Reiki Healing will be available with experienced practitioners.

There will also be new age gifts on sale, books and hand made greeting cards.

20 minutes private reading with a well known experienced medium will be £10 on the day.

15 minute card readings – mini readings – or readings with novice mediums  will be £5

Spiritual Healing is donation only and Reiki will be £3 for a taster session.

All mediums and healers are giving their services free of charge to the church and all proceeds will go to church funds.

Refreshments will be available and there will also be a raffle.

At the end of every circle I sit in, I give up the left over energy as a healing gift.  It is simple to do and stops the energy giving you a headache.

As you may know, when mediums sit they build up energy with which to work.  This energy is used whilst in the circle or giving private readings. But, especially if there are several of you sitting, sometimes not all the energy is used.

In the past I have gone home with a headache or something else which has taken on the energy.  Why waste it?  Use it to give the gift of healing.

At the end of your sitting, when giving your closing prayer, ask Spirit to take any left over energy and use it as healing for someone in need.

You may either just send it out or name someone specific for who it should go to.  You may have a healing list and can then ask for it for everyone on the list.

You will feel so much better afterwards. Giving healing has its own rewards, and it is not monetary.  Above all enjoy your sittings and giving out of the absent healing.

There are times in every one’s life when illness shows it’s ugly head. It may be something simple and usually, thank God, it is something simple. But then there are the times when it is something not so simple.

There is the dreaded Cancer word. The illness that seems to be impinging on the lives of most of us now, and it spreads fear along its pathway. Fear and panic.  We all seem to be touched by it in some way and to some degree.

I have had it myself. In 2008 I had surgery for Kidney Cancer and now I have regular scans and check ups. I do lots of praying and wishing and hoping. I am always anxious prior to my regular scans and check ups. I am just like the rest. Except, I am one of the lucky ones.  I was given a chance, and sadly some are not, because it is too late when theirs is found.

We seem to have this fear of knowing, and think that what we don’t know will not hurt us. A sort of ignorance is bliss. But it can hurt us, even if we do not know its there.  We should listen to our sixth sense and follow what we are being urged to do.  It may save your life, or at least prolong the good quality of it. The sixth sense isn’t just for mediums you know. It is for us all to use.

We have two members of our extended family right now, who are in the end stages of very painful cancer. There is little that can be done. They are on drugs and are being cared for and loved by their close family. It is as painful for the loved ones as it is for the patient in some ways.

What we can do, in a positive way,  is send out healing thoughts and prayers. My prayers and thoughts will ask for a swift and pain free journey to the spirit world for them, where they will be reunited with loved ones who have gone before. No more to suffer the pain and indignation of Cancer. But to live in light, peace and love.

This is not cruel, to want them to pass over.  Their passing is inevitable just as yours and mine is. But maybe theirs will be sooner than ours.  We do not want them to suffer and if all we can do is wish them a peaceful passing then so be it!

May they take their transition in a peaceful, painless and dignified way.  May they be met by those who have gone on before them, to prepare a place for them, in the Spirit World.  And, may their family, left behind on this material plane for a little longer, find peace in their hearts, knowing their loved one is finally at rest.

Spiritualist healers are those gifted people who are able to channel spiritual healing energies, to help those who are sick and suffering.

The healers work with spirit healing guides and spirit helpers. At spiritualist churches throughout the UK and across the globe, these healers work in groups which are usually open to the public and spiritualists alike. They are known as Healing Circles.

Sometimes though, in my experience, it is not easy to get a spiritualist healer to give their time to visit a house bound patient. The ones I have asked in the past say they are too busy etc  You must attend the church etc  We will add your name to a list. How sad! What a wasted opportunity!  ( Healers at my church will help where they can though.)

The most sick and suffering are often too ill to attend the churches and healing circles. Surely some of the healers could make themselves available to the housebound. Maybe the Spiritualist National Union (SNU), could put a list of those willing to do home or hospital visits on their website. Preferably not ones who are in it for money.

There are other humble healers who say they do not know where their healing energy comes from. They know it is a gift and they know patients benefit from it.  Therefore they are willing to go to any lengths to help. These are wonderful people with wonderful souls.

I have had such help, from a most gifted and humble man who changed my health and well being so much.  He  gave his time and his energy but refused to take any credit for the outcome, except to say it comes from the spirit world and not from himself.

He doubts himself as he is so humble, and so he asked the spirit world for proof that he was helping me. The following night I asked Spirit for help again and was given a phrase (clairaudiently) which I passed on to my healer the next day.

Unknown to me, the phrase I repeated gave my healer the proof he was seeking, as it was impossible for me to know about or understand the phrase when I heard it.  He too had been asking for this same proof.  At the same time it gave me proof that the Spirit World was helping me.

It may be a little hard to follow if you are not used to Spiritualists or such, but to be given an answer to a plea, so precise and at the right time is awesome. It is also rare. I will no doubt be telling the full story of this event for years to come.

And my humble healer, John, is so elated that Spirit has sent him such proof,  but even more happy about the progress with my health. This is so typical of him and I believe that is why he is so gifted.

Spiritual healing is not the same as faith healing.  The person requiring the healing does not have to believe in order for the healing to take place. Nor does the person have to be religious in any way. You don’t have to be a Spiritualist either.

There have been lots of reports of babies, children and even animals,  who have benefited from spiritual healing, and no one ever asked them to believe.  How could they ask children and babies to believe in anything?  Let alone animals. And yet it is widely known that spiritual healing works on animals.

Spiritual healing may be hands on healing, or it can even be given in the absence of the recipient.  It is then referred to as absent healing. This can be done with or without the person’s knowledge, as it is non-invasive.  This is a widely used form of spirit healing.

I have an absent healing list on my web site as you may be aware.  Anyone who would like absent healing can email me their name, or the name of a loved one who needs healing. Each day the names are read out and healing is sent to them, in much the same way as healing is given on a one to one basis.

Lots of healers read the names on my healing list and send their healing thoughts and prayers out too.  We do get good results and the more  healers who send out their own healing energy to these people, the better.  Anyone who looks at the list can add to the healing energy by merely sending out your love.

Thoughts are living things and along with your prayers they are carried on the cosmos to where they are needed.  It matters not if you are religious and if you are, it matters not where your religion takes you.

Suffice it to say that there is a higher source at work, and healing is possible through prayer and kind healing thoughts. Even when a persons time on this earth plane is coming to an end, healing can help ease the pain and the suffering of passing.

Names can remain on my list even when transition has taken place and they pass over to the brighter side of life, as I believe we can still give the Spirit, or soul, some healing vibrations to help with their transition to the higher side.  As well as to the grieving family.

Please keep sending in the names, those on the list will continue to receive our love and support every day.

My plea to Healers everywhere is to join in our events and believe that everything is possible.

Whilst some celebrate the new year others grieve the passing of a loved one.  It is a sad fact of life. At this festive time of year it always seems sadder and more poignant somehow.

But whilst some carry on with life as normal, after the celebrations, some of us will grieve for a long time.  Heartache is a lasting thing.

As a Spiritualist, I believe there is life after death. But it is hard to convince someone who is in the depths of grief and despair, that they will meet again one day.

The transition is hard for us, but it is a home going for the loved one who has passed over. They go back home to where we all come from, the Spirit World. Their loved ones already in spirit will rejoice at ther home coming. Whilst here on the material plane there are tears and sometimes regrets.

We all meet again some day. In the mean time we thank God for the time we have spent together, growing and evolving our spirit. Yes we miss the material body of our loved ones. Yes we miss their earthly presence. But with time and patience we can still learn to communicate with them.

I know there is a lot of illness around at this time of year. This is particularly so in the UK as there is so much flu around. More so than ever because of the bad winter we are having.

There are also a lot of people struggling with serious, and even terminal, illness too.  My heart goes out to them and their families. Christmas time and new year are particularly poignant for them.

There are lots of people asking for and needing healing. To them I send healing thoughts and prayers. I ask for your help too.  If we all send out positive healing thoughts to all those in need, we may just help improve their situation.

With spiritulal healing it is not all about cures you know. It is about improving the quality of life. Relieving pain and suffering in what ever way spirit can help.

So lets begin now and keep sending it in whatever spare moments we have. Send out your love. It costs nothing but is worth so much. Enjoy the experience. You will benefit too.

Today, our dog Gabi is in good spirits.  She is once again her happy, cocky self.

Today, the vet could not believe that this was the same dog who was at deaths door on Christmas Day.  Yes she has stitches the full length of her tum and her groin too. Yes she is on meds.  But, oh what a difference a day and Spirit Healing make.

I know we have a good vet and he did remarkable surgey in an emergency situaltion. But I know that her quick recovery has been helped by spirit healing.  Healing and medical intervention go hand in hand.
