Now, if you have been reading my blog on a regular basis you know how to set up and run your own circle. You may now be ready to move your circle on a bit and need to know how.
You should be aware by now of how you and your other group members are progressing. Do you feel that there are signs of any special gifts appearing. Do any of you seem to be going into trance or do your faces seem to change a little? Is any one of seeming to progress quicker than the rest?
With these questions in mind, and your answers, you can decide which way to take things. You can try to put the focus on one group member for a couple of weeks and then, if nothing special seems to happen, try another member. This way, if any of them is developing a particular gift you will soon find out.
The other thing you can try, either before or after the above, is to experiment with psychometry. When you have tried psychometry for a couple of weeks you will know who it suits best. You can then move on to try sand and then ribbons. This way there is a good chance that you will find a good outlet for each of your group sitters.
There is always one method that suits one person more than the others. It is great when they find their own thing! When you have tried and tested the different focal points, colours, psychometry, flowers and sand you can then consider taking it in turns to be the focus of the group.
Ask your sitters if any of them feel inspired to talk during the circle. Sometimes a sitter will start to develop an interest in philosophy and may feel inspired to talk during the circle. Let them talk and see what happens. You may be guided by that person’s guardian angel.
One of you will probably find you are inspired to say the opening and closing prayers. It may be more than one of you. In any case, when one of you is inspired in any knew direction you should be given the chance to pracice and improve.
More suggestions later.
