Some of my readers have been asking the above question. They want to know how they can tell if they really are clairvoyant or clairaudient.

A clairvoyant sees images and sometime times they see spirits. A clairaudient hears voices and sounds. A clairsentient feels and senses emotions and pains and they also smell odours, both nice and not so nice.

Some clairvoyants get a mixture of senses. I myself hear, see and feel, which is very useful. I am a spiritualist medium and refer to myself as being clairvoyant.

Psychics can be clairvoyant, but they only see everyday images and do not see spirits.

Some associate being clairvoyant with fortune telling. Fortune tellers may well be clairvoyant, but I do not personally believe anyone can tell you the future, as we all have free will and can change the course of our own lives in an instant.

Mediums get their images and voices via the spirit world and they use the gift to give comfort to the bereaved and upliftment to help them cope with their lives. Proving life after death is a fact helps those who are mourning a loved one.

If you are seeing images or people, or you are getting any of the events mentioned above, then you should seek help to develop your newly recognised gift. You may have had the gift a long time but only just become aware of it.

If I can advise you further then please email me. Enjoy your God given gifts!

I first became aware of my own interest in the psychic and spiritual subject, after my beloved maternal Grandmother passed over to the higher side of life. I missed her so much and simply could not believe I would never see her again. I was distraught for a long time and still miss her today.

Most of my childhood I spent as much time as possible with my Gram, and we shared the same interests such as knitting and sewing, but also we both enjoyed walking through the cemetery on a sunny Sunday afternoon. My Gram would talk to me of life and death and the afterlife, although I was unsure at the time exactly where her beliefs sprang from. I am still not sure, even today.

With my interest already kindled, I decided to ask around for advice on where to do my spiritual searching and questioning. This was long after my grandmother had passed over.

I had no spiritual or psychic knowledge to speak of. One day my mother told me there was a Psychic Research Centre in the city centre. She thought I might get my answers there. So, armed with a bag of sweets and a couple of friends, along I went.

I soon became a regular at that centre and I took the whole subject much more seriously than any of my friends did. They saw it as entertainment whereas I saw it as a way of life.

One day, a well known Sheffield medium was on the platform at the psychic centre, and she talked about the fact that all of us have the gift of being psychic. She said it was up to us if we chose to develop it. She told us that we were all psychic and we could quite easily get help to develop our gifts.

When the service was over I approached the medium, Pat, and asked her where I could get “some of this development”. Pat laughed, but after a nice and informative chat, she very kindly directed me to our local Spiritualist church, where she said there was a regular development group.

There at the spiritualist church, every week, a popular medium of good reputation ran an ‘Awareness and Development’ class, at which I soon became both a regular and a very enthusiastic member.

At the development class I learned a lot about Spiritualism, as well as awareness of spirit and about how mediums communicate with spirit. I just could not get enough of it and I started to attend the other nights events at the church, when different types of services were held. It felt like I was home.

I soon developed enough to start working in the open circles and gradually moved on from there. That first day at the psychic centre was over 26 years ago. I have never looked back and I have made wonderful friends and met lots of really excellent mediums.

There are lots of churches and psychic centres for you to attend if that is where you feel you belong. Try looking at the church directory by using the link I posted recently. Maybe you will find your very own home!
