My friend John, goes on ghost walks.  He likes to find things out for himself. He pays no heed to those who tell elaborate stories about what ghosts they have seen, and TV haunting programmes are something he just laughs at. He has paid out for ghost hunting events which have left him cold, so now he searches for himself, and it doesn’t cost him a penny. Furthermore, it is more rewarding.

He has found quite a few places to go around the Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire countryside.  He has also made a few friends with like minds. These are people who are fed up with being duped.  So, together, they spend at least one day or night a week in pursuit of haunted places.

They go armed with cameras and recorders, but have found the best equipment to be their own senses. They have become in tune with their own sixth senses and find it very useful. When approaching areas of interest they feel tingling sensations, get cold shivers, or the hairs on the back of their necks stand on end. They notice cold spots and areas where the birds are quiet. They compare thoughts and feelings to see if they are all getting the same sensations and they trust each other, and no one is stage managing the events.

They are very interested in orbs, which from time to time appear on photos they have taken whilst walking in dark woods. They may appear up in the trees or out in the open or on high. There seems, as yet, no rhyme or reason why they see them or what they are.  Some are white and some have a blue hue to them. Some appear to have what looks almost like a face in their centre.

If orbs are a naturally occurring event they will find out, and if not they will keep on searching. A search for the truth can be a lifetime’s work…

I went to see medium Darren Brittain demonstrate his gift at Attercliffe SNU Church this weekend.

The church was full as Darren is very popular.  He has a delightful way of working with spirit and with his audience.  He brings very detailed evidence in order to prove survival after death.  Whilst he uses a self deprecating form of wit throughout his demonstration.

I found him to be an excellent demonstrator.  Someone I will go and watch again and again without ever being bored.

I normally hate to hear people coming out of a church saying  ’ We had a right good laugh’!  As entertainment is not what it is about.  But in Darren’s case I can excuse it,  as he amused whilst giving the best of detailed evidence from the spirit world.

He went to my friend Sue, and gave her spot on evidence from her friend M, whose funeral it  been that very day.  Sue could hardly believe that M had manged to communicate so soon after taking her transition to the spirit world.

Darren is one medium not to be missed if you get the opportunity in your area.

It is my belief that we are all Spirit and all come from the Spirit World. From the first moment of our earthly conception, we are joined by a guardian angel.

This angel  stays with us to guide us,  throughout our earthly existence and helps guide us through the cycles of learning which we have chosen to undertake.

Some call the Angel a spirit guide.  Some prefer to say guardian angel.  Angel conjures up the fluffy wings and harp image that so many love and  asocaite with Christmas time.  This can be a comforting image for some.

In life we realise that the lessons we have to learn will keep coming around again and again.   In a cycle.  If we do not deal with a particular problem in the correct way, to solve it instead of muddle through it, then it will return again in some other form.

The cycle does not break until we have learned the lesson properly and can prevent the same thing happening again.

Our angel will try to inspire us to do the right thing.  To solve the problems properly, once and for all.  If we choose to ignore the inspiration of the guide, it is at our own folly.

A typical example of this would be: you get into a financial mess by taking a quick route, maybe by robbing Peter to pay Paul. Sooner or later, things catch up with you again and this time it is worse still. You borrow money to throw at the problem and it is just a waste as things get progressively worse.

Finally, the angel inspiration gets through to you and makes you realise your habits must change. You take a long hard look at your budget and see that you have far too many out-goings that do not correlate to the in-comings. You get a financial adviser to sort out your mess and explain to you the best way to go forward.

The cycle is then broken at last.  The lesson learned. Your life is in better order and you can concentrate on other lessons.

The spirit guide stays with you throughout your life span and gives you inspiration when it is needed. When the time comes for you to go back home to the spirit world, your angel will take you there.  You are never completely alone.

In the spirit world your loved ones, who have gone ahead of you, will be there to meet and greet you and make you feel safe and secure.  You will be safe within your spirit family group once more and your angel.

The short answer to this question is yes.  There is far more to it though.  It should be added that any positive thought can help a person.  It is the negatives that bring us down.

Of course the main thing to say here is that you should never just have spiritual healing.  You should always see your doctor in times of  illness and pain.  Spiritual  healing is a always a supplement to conventional medics.

A healer who promises a cure is not telling you the truth and should be avoided at all costs.  No healer can promise to make you better.  Not even a medic would promise you that.

Having said all that, healing can be a great source of help and comfort.  There are many stories among healers and the public about the wonderful results healing has brought about.

Two years ago I was very ill, and although I needed doctors and surgeons I still had healing from my spiritual healer.  I found it very comforting.  And, when I felt most down and alone in my illness, it was spirit that gave me the proof that my healing was working. It was a wonderful spiritual moment.

Some ask for healing for loved ones,  but if the loved one then passes to spirit, they think the healing hasn’t worked.  This is not true either.

Healing can bring relief from pain and sleeplessness. It can help you to relax and to stop feeling afraid.  Sometimes it can help to ease things whilst your medication cures you.  In whatever way it works it is truly of benefit.

Sometimes the patient passes to spirit, but their final moments may be less fraught and painless thanks to the healing they have received.  If their time on earth is over they have to go, it is a fact of life.

The healing helps when a person is taking their transition to the higher side of life.  It keeps them calmer and helps them and their relatives.  If you ask for prayers and absent healing to be sent to them it DOES make a difference.

Healing will not stop them passing over but it will ease their way and their journey.  It will also have a profound effect on the relatives,  if their loved one is in less pain as they are passing.

If you need a healer you can find one through your local spiritualist church.  Or you can look at the SNU website.  The SNU has a list of qualified healers.

If you would like any more information on this subject please email me at this site.

crystal ball – noun  a solid globe of glass or rock crystal, used for crystal-gazing. Oxford English Dictionary

Crystal balls seem to conjure up the image of a fortune teller, complete with headscarf and dangly earings, in the minds of most people.  Ask anyone you know and I suspect that is what they will say.  Fairgrounds and gypsies spring to the mind too. Gypsies I understand are particularly good with the crystal.

I have known psychics who have used the crystal in the past, but most of the modern day mediums do not. It seems to be a lost art. Although to my understanding, no images are actually seen inside the crystal ball.

Like most toolsemployed by psychics in their quest of other worldy information, they are used as focal points to help the reader concentrate on the subject. It is not cheating or anything like that. It is merely a helpful tool.

The psychic will gaze into the ball and ask in their mind for information. The information will appear in the third eye, which is located in the centre of the brow, and is one of the psychic centres which I discuss in my development books and courses.

It is not a physical or tangible thing. Whilst the reader gazes into the ball it will appear as though the images are actually in there. When in fact it is like viewing images on a screen in your forehead.

I use many such tools as focal points to help my students learn to concentrate on the psychic information which their guides bring to them. It also helps the reader to relax and to ignore what is going on around them.

Cards, ribbons, flowers, feathers and stones, are all useful tools for the medium and especially the novice mediums.

Deja vu – noun : a feeling of having already experienced the present situation.  (Oxford English Dictionary)

The feeling is often accompanied by a sense of familiarity, but also a sense of weirdness. Some describe it as a dream like state. There is usually a sense that this really happened before, in exactly the same way, just as though you were in a film and were re-running it.

It seems to be quite a common occurrence, one which usually gives you shivers down your spine.  I am keen to hear thoughts on this subject, but I have my own theory.

I believe that although the knowledge we have before we come to this earth plane is wiped from our memory for the duration of this earthly lifespan, sometimes, and only extremely briefly, it manages to spill over into our present existence.  Thus, the eerie experience of deja vu!

We all have a higher consciousness and maybe things are sort of stored there. When we see something that seems so familiar that it must have happened exactly the same way to us before,  maybe it is from the higher consciousness that ewe get the feeling of having experienced it all before.

What do you think?

Why do they always look for evil when trying to find ghosts on most haunted?  Do they believe that all ghosts are evil?  Surely some are good!

As my regular readers know, I believe that ghosts are images trapped in time, not evil spirits.  They are always seen at the same time of day and doing exactly the same thing every time.  I believe these are the images of those who have died a violent or tragic death.

Spirits are those who live in the spirit world but have loved ones on earth whom they want to communicate with.  Because they love us they do not want to scare us.  They do nor haunt us.  They do not want to and they have not the time to either. They are getting on with the progression and evolution of their soul.

Once you realise the difference between the two then you can understand what is happening.  Ghosts will no longer scare you.  A spirit will only contact you if they love you, and the bad spirits will not want to.  Although, there are obviously good and bad in  spirit just as there is on earth. We all go back home to the spirit world from where we all came.

Maybe the most haunted haunted cast would be better off looking for good spirits and a little less trouble.

I like to share my experience as a medium, colour and flower reader.  I do this by giving private readings and also by organising and running workshops.

The workshops usually run for a half  or full day.  I teach flower readings and ribbon readings.  This includes a demonstration and lecture as well as hands on tutoring.

Colours and flowers are so nice to use for readings.  It helps bring out the best in students.  This is something that once tried, and learned properly, can always be used.  You never forget how once you know how.

My favourite part of the workshops is always to see the look on a students face when they realise they can ‘do it’!  It is always a wonderful moment and worth the wait.

If you or your church would like to arrange a workshop for me to tutor, then please email me for more information.
