You all wanted to know more about the soon to be, supernatural movie, that Eastwood and Damon are involved in. Thanks to Movieline, here it is.
Hereafter by Peter Morgan
“It was announced late last night that Clint Eastwood’s next project will be the Peter Morgan-scripted Hereafter, which is set to star Matt Damon. What’s it about? “For Eastwood, the project’s a move into supernatural territory,” says Variety. “Warner Bros. is keeping the logline under wraps beyond describing the project as a thriller in the vein of The Sixth Sense.”
Not again with the secret logline! It didn’t take us long to crack Gus Van Sant’s Restless, and Hereafter was even easier: We’ve got a copy of the script, dated to last spring. So what’s this movie really about? As always, we won’t spoil anything major, but we can at least tell you as much as you’ll learn when they make a trailer for it:
Both Variety and the Hollywood Reporter are calling Hereafter a “thriller,” and that’s not quite the case (unless it’s undergone significant changes since being bought by DreamWorks last year). After two tense set pieces that leave its main characters changed forever, the film becomes a quiet drama about three people trying to figure out what, if anything, exists after death.
Damon’s character is the most overly supernatural figure in the script: GEORGE, a “handsome, shy, soft-spoken” factory worker with a psychic gift of, well, seeing dead people. We don’t see his hallucinations, though — in fact, George is doing his damnedest not to see them himself.
Meanwhile, across the world, two different plotlines play out that are touched by tragedy. Beautiful French journalist MARIE (think Marion Cotillard or Audrey Tautou) recovers from a near-death experience in the 2004 tsunami, then becomes increasingly gripped with questions about what she saw before she was revived. At the same time in London, 12-year-old MARCUS loses his twin brother and shuts down emotionally while searching for any way to contact his lost family member in the afterlife.
What ensues are not thrills or supernatural chills but rather three lonely people, cut off from the ones they love, searching for answers about what lies beyond life. Naturally, they do a whole lot of Googling.”
Coloured stones are one of my favourite things to read and I also like using coloured feathers. Those who know me know my ultimate favourite is reading coloured ribbons, but I like reading flowers too.
Flower reading has its own rules. You can of course read the colours of the flower. You can also use the flower for psychometry. Using both in unison is even better.
When I read a flower, I read the colour first. I then progress to the flower itself. Finally, I will tune into the Spirit world and communicate with them. My flower reading is complete this way.
Clairsentience is the gift best utilised here. You can feel and sense so much! It always amazes me just how much you can give this way.
Always experiment with your ‘tools’ and learn the best way for you.
Some mediums can see auras. Not all of them though. You can sometimes teach yourself how to see them but you will need a lot of patience and continued practice.
The auras are made up of all the rainbow colours. The colours are often varying shades and pulsate. The aura can be quite well spread out from the persons material body.
The idea of reading them is mostly reading the colours. Again, a lot of work with the spirit guide will be priceless. The partnership is invaluable. Apart from the colour itself, the density of the colour is also important.
Some mediums and healers can actually diagnose illness by examining the aura. But, never have this instead of a doctors examination. The two would be good though.
The chakras are part of the etheric body, at certain points corresponding to the material body. The important thing here is the colour of them. If you use this blogs search facility at the right side of this page, you can learn more about the chakras.
If you focus on the colour of certain chakras, you will be able to develop certain psychic senses. Again, dedication is required. Not to mention determination and persistence.
More on colour tomorrow!
Colour can be used to help with psychic and mediumistic readings as well as for healing. All the colours of the rainbow can be used. And, all the different shades of each colour.
A medium will often see colours and whatever colour a spirit shows to a medium means something. It is though, a personal choice for the meanings of each colour, and it becomes a partnership between the medium and the spirit guide.
If a spirit contact wants to send healing to someone in a message, the guide will give me blue. It will be in a form related to the message and communication taking place. For instance, if the spirit is bringing a rose, the rose will be a memory, but the colour matters, and so in this case they would show me a blue rose. One for the memory and one for the healing.
This is a simple example and if the medium wants this to work they have to become a dedicated developer of their mediumship and work with their guides through meditation. It is all worthwhile and makes mediumship so much more involved.
There will be more on this subject tomorrow!
Colour can be used in Spiritual healing. It can also be used as a tool to send out absent healing. This is something I do regularly, to send healing to all those on my website healing list.
As you will be aware, lots of people send in names to my website. They are the names of friends and loved ones who are unwell or going through bereavement. They are all in need of healing for one reason or another. Most of us need it at sometime.
A good way to send out the absent healing is with colour, Colours can have personal connotations. I find that using blue for this purpose works just right. Blue is a soothing, comforting colour. The colour of the sky and the oceans. The oceans and the seas are the colour of life, since without water we are nothing.
Here is a simple way for you to send out your own absent healing, to help a loved one.
Sit quietly in a meditative state. This can be with or without music in the background. Visualise your ‘patient’ lying on a bed in the centre of a room. Send out a prayer asking spirit to help you. Visualise a large cloud of soothing blue. Send out the cloud to the patient. Make the cloud envelop their entire body.
Send out your most loving an healing thoughts whilst the patient is within the blue cloud. You will instinctively know when it is time to stop. At the end of your session it is good to send out a prayer of thanks.
I hope this helps you. It is not only those with a certificate who can send out healing. All you need is love!
Colour is a big part of our lives. Without it the world would be a far more miserable place to be. Without the blue sky and the green grass, the yellow sunshine and the flowers of many colours, how dull it would be.
As a medium, colour is very important to me. I use colour in my readings and to send out absent healing. The colours I wear have an effect on my moods too. Have you noticed it with yourself? If i wear nice bright colours I feel more exuberant and outgoing. If i wear darker colours, my mood is much more subdued.
Our auras are colourful too, and the colours prominent in them show us a lot about the person it belongs to. Not only the colours, but the shades and depths of each colour. An aura reader can tell about our mood and our health by studying the colours.
We also have Chakras. These are based in areas around our body and cannot be seen with the naked eye. You need a clairvoyant for this. Although, you can teach yourself to see auras and you may be able to teach yourself to see chakras or at least become aware of them.
As a medium, I have learned the meaning of the colours, and with the help of my spirit guides I can give mediumistic messages whilst reading them. It has to be a partnership with the spirit and the reader. Otherwise you are only left with psychometry.
More on this subject tomorrow.
This weeks topic will be colour. I will discuss the use of colour in psychic readings and Spiritual healing.
Among the items discussed will be auras and chakras. Psychic centres and the use of ribbons for giving readings. If there is anything in particular you would like me to cover then please email me here.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Back tomorrow.
For those new to my blog, I thought it might be helpful for you to know where I stand and where I am coming from. A little more about me, the medium.
If you go onto my website: www.BarbaraBiggin.com you will find out about me personally. Where I live and what brought me into mediumship and Spiritulaism. How I came to be me, Barbara the Spiritulaist medium!
As for this blog: I use it to diseminate information and knowledge of a psychic and spiritual nature. I try to pass on my knowledge to those of you who are interested in the subject.
I like to keep the blog easy and simple to read. I don’t like to use psychic speak! I like everyone all over the World, to understand what I am talking about, not just mediums. This is for all my readers.
I endeavour to open your eyes and make you think. Although I personally like to be open and honest, not everyone purporting to be a psychic or medium is honest. Some are downright dishonest. The more you know about how things work, the more you will be able to make judgements yourself.
My aim is to give you the knowledge, so that you can use your own judgement when deciding what is for you and what isn’t.
Lets face it, there are lots of charlatans out there. The more knowledge you have, the less likely it is for you to be had. Lots of people are caught up in scams because of their lack of knowledge.
You can be a wonderfully kind hearted person who gets let down because of a lack of knowledge. You cannot trust everyone.
By the very nature of psychic work, it is easy for the unscrupulous to con you. Integrity is so important in a medium. With knowledge and recommendations, you will be safer.
This blog is also for the many novice mediums in development who, for whatever reason, cannot find enough information to help themselves. Sometimes it is hard to find the right group to sit with, or the right selfless experienced medium who is willing to help you develop. Some are sadly too jealous of others success and do not like to share their gift with others.
Remember, never pay more than you can afford for readings or teachings, and if you know of good mediums, spread the word so that others may try them.
My friend recently visited Florida and whilst she was there she saw some wonderful stones in the stores. She brought me back a little pouch full of them.
The stones are the most amazing colours. Some are really bright too. They are just what I need to use for readings. I intend to start using them this weekend.
Stone reading is not just for rune stones! You can use any collection of stones which you feel inspired to for readings. You only need about seven but a little less or a little more is ok too.
Again, this is a little like ribbon readings, in that you can use the colours to give information, and you can also hold them and read information from them. They can be used for psychometry, but then you would have to cleanse them after every reading or else they will hold on to too many vibes from other sitters who have handled them.
I find that placing them on a small table and asking the client to choose three or four, is a good start. The colours will stand out for them and for you. So, you can start with the colour and take it from there with your own special way of working.
There is no need for hokus-pokus. It is a straightforward natural thing to work with natural substances and minerals. Enjoy!
