The length of time taken to develop the sixth sense varies from person to person. The sixth sense is the psychic part of it, and when that part is developing mediumship can then follow.
I know of people who take years to develop and I also know those who have developed very quickly. Suffice it to say that safe and slowly is the best way to develop.
We are all psychic as I have said many times on this blog. We are not all mediums though. It can be a fairly quick process to become aware of your psychic gifts but you then need to take your time developing mediumship.
There are those who try to run before they can walk and consequently burn themselves out. They find after a while that their gift seems to have gone.
Those who develop slowly seem to have a better control of their gifts and therefore use them tactfully and properly. There is a lot of responsibility on mediums to use their gift thoughtfully, tactfully and caringly. This includes the way in which they put across their message.
Dedication is very important. You need to sit for development on a regular basis. This should be at least once a week in regular as clockwork. If you can sit more ofter and more regularly then all the better. Mediums of old used to sit for spirit 6 and 7 times a week. That is why they developed physical mediumship and direct voice.
Today there is sadly, not enough dedication and not enough physical mediumship either. It is a shame as the best proof can come through physical mediums.
If you know of any gifted physical mediums, please email me about them. I know lots of my readers would love to heart about them.
