There is a full moon in the night skies of Britain this weekend. It is very bright and you should be able to get a really good view of it, weather permitting. Although I know we are expecting lots of rain!
I understand that the full moon can affect people. Or, people think the full moon affects them. Whichever it happens to be, I know it creates a lot of curiosity and conversation.
Astrologers know far more about the moon than I do, and if you want an astrological point of view you could log on to www.nononsenseastrology.co.uk where you will get a more knowledgeable account.
My interest stems from the number of people who send email to my blog, telling me of the many ways in which the moon affects them. Some are very interesting and others sound very OTT.
Most accounts are about bad tempers which are blamed on the moon’s influence. Some tell me they are especially moody when there is a full moon. One lady assures me she is in a dreadful mood throughout the period of the full moon, but when it is over she becomes excessively empathetic toward her friends, family and colleagues!
If you are affected by the moon in any way, I will be very happy to hear from you. Also, if you have beneficial affects after the full moon is over, I am eager to know.
The effects of the moon have been written about in history books for centuries. I have heard that the moon has had effects on the outcomes of battles and such, so any light you can shed on this subject will be handled with great interest. I look forward to hearing your tales!
On a mediums note: when I am giving a reading and my spirit guide shows me the moon, it tells me something which I have to pass on to my sitter. It is always related to the subject I am talking to them about at the time. The moon always has one side in darkness and therefore, when you look at the moon you are never seeing the full picture. So, I know that my sitter cannot see the full picture in their current circumstances.
More information on this subject at a later date but I am willing to answer questions as usual.
