There is a full moon in the night skies of Britain this weekend.  It is very bright and you should be able to get a really good view of it, weather permitting.  Although I know we are expecting lots of rain!

I understand that the full moon can affect people.  Or, people think the full moon affects them.  Whichever it happens to be, I know it creates a lot of curiosity and conversation.

Astrologers know far more about the moon than I do, and if you want an astrological point of view you could log on to www.nononsenseastrology.co.uk where you will get a more knowledgeable account.

My interest stems from the number of people who send email to my blog, telling me of the many ways in which the moon affects them.  Some are very interesting and others sound very OTT.

Most accounts are about bad tempers which are blamed on the moon’s influence.  Some tell me they are especially moody when there is a full moon.  One lady assures me she is in a dreadful mood throughout the period of the full moon, but when it is over she becomes excessively empathetic toward her friends, family and colleagues!

If you are affected by the moon in any way, I will be very happy to hear from you.  Also, if you have beneficial affects after the full moon is over, I am eager to know.

The effects of the moon have been written about in history books for centuries.  I have heard that the moon has had effects on the outcomes of battles and such, so any light you can shed on this subject will be handled with great interest. I look forward to hearing your tales!

On a mediums note: when I am giving a reading and my spirit guide shows me the moon, it tells me something which I have to pass on to my sitter.  It is always related to the subject I am talking to them about at the time.  The moon always has one side in darkness and therefore, when you look at the moon you are never seeing the full picture. So, I know that my sitter cannot see the full picture in their current circumstances.

More information on this subject at a later date but I am willing to answer questions as usual.

So, I relented and watched this weeks Ghost Whisperer.  It was a little more realistic than last weeks episode, which was more like science fiction.  A pity I am not a sci-fi fan.

Does anyone remember the 80s film about people who got trapped inside a videao game?  Well, my family all remember it and the episode of GW (Ghost Whisperer) last week was just like it.  Maybe the writers think nobody can remember back to the 80s.  Anyway, I digress, and so back to this week.

The clairaudient man didn’t get to do much communicating with the ghosts, except by phone!!!  Melinda was really busy though, on a cruise ship that seemed to have more ghosts than live passengers.  She was being a detective again. At lease Jim was still in it, but he is due to exit sometime soon.

It made it a bit more interesting but I am still very disillusioned.  Maybe someone will write a series that is more ‘down to earth’, like real mediums are!  Back to real stuff from now on!

I have made the decision to write another book.  I am feeling creative at the moment and think I can get down to some real writing as well as keeping up with my regular blog.

It would be helpful to hear from my readers what kind of subjects they like to read most about.  Obviously, the main subject will be spiritual and psychic.  There are of course many areas under this umbrella and I have lots of experience to share.

Ribbons and colours seem to fascinate readers the most.  I know that from the amount of email I get on the topic.  I may decide to write about ribbon reading for beginners.  It is an interesting subject and most people do not fully understand it.  There may even be a series of books on the different forms of psychic reading.  My last book was all about development and covers meditation and opening up.

As I have said before, when ribbon reading, it is the colours that are important.  It is not a form of psychometry and those who use it as such miss the point altogether.  Why go to the trouble of buying ribbons when any item belonging to your sitter will suffice for psychometry.

Remember, most mediums can use items such as ribbons, as focal points whilst leaving their minds free to pick up spiritual communication.  If it is proof of life after death you want, this could be your thing.  When the colour meanings have been discussed, the reader if mediumistic, can move on to giving the real message.

On the night of 31st March 1848, in a small town called Hydesville, New York State, USA, two young girls called Kate and Margaretta Fox heard noises and knocks which became so loud that the family could not sleep.

After experiencing these noises for many days the two girls discovered something amazing. When they clapped their hands or called out to the noises they heard, their clapping was answered by the same number of knocking sounds.  There ensued a lot of trial and error to discover a means of communication.

Soon, the whole of the Fox family, were joined in their new pass-time by neighbours, and the use of a code was soon established. The code was very simple, one knock for no and two for yes became the norm. The family soon used a table for the tappings.

Eventually, the sitters realised that the noises were created by spirit.  They found that the spirit belonged to a man whose name was Charles B. Rosna. This spirit communicated that he had been murdered by a man named John C. Bell.  He told the Foxes, that his body was buried in the cellar.

In 1904, the remains of Charles’ body were finally discovered along with his belongings and his tin box.  Charles was finally laid to rest and became at peace at last.

Today the Fox sisters are remembered by Spiritualists throughout the world and their use of the table for tapping and tilting, is still copied by many.
