There are a few programmes on television which show mediums and psychics working an audience. Some are American and others are English. I personally have not seen any programmes from other countries. Maybe that is because of language constraints.
The ones I have seen have a limited possibility of showing a full reading with none of it edited. Therefore, what you get is an edited example of a reading, with more yeses than nos. The producers of these programmes are not going to waste precious filming time on negative answers.
Unfortunately, this means the public do not get the correct impression of the medium or psychic’s work. The only responses you usually see are positive ones. This is not to knock the mediums but to be realistic about the genre.
There is bound to be a name or place ,or incident, that does not spring directly to the recipient’s mind. This does not mean that the medium is wrong, but just that the receiver needs more time to think about it. Some names are foremost in our minds, whilst others take a bit of a back seat and have to be thought about.
There is always the person who says no to everything, except the one person they are hoping to hear from. They may not get this person but it does not stop them hoping. Unfortunately this means they are turning a deaf ear to a lot of what the spirit is communicating through the medium.
Please remember that some of the televised mediums are very good and others are merely poor actors who give TV programmes a bad name. Not to mention other mediums and psychics, who sadly get tarred with the same brush.
Remember that the programmes are heavily edited and then when you go to see a ‘live’ speaker, you will not expect everything to get a positive response. Go with an open mind and expecting to have to ponder over some of the evidence when you get back home before either dismissing it or accepting it.
Most church mediums are giving their services free and therefore they have nothing to gain from pretence, unless they have an over inflated ego. Most do not and are really very humble. The humble ones, in my experience, are always far and above, the best mediums.
