Unfortunately, there seems to be lots of people getting involved in running psychic circles, who do not have the skills to do so. Often, they are not developed themselves so they are ill equipped to help others develop. This is unsafe for the psychic student or for novice medium.
When it is a medium who is running the circle then they can help a student or novice who is getting their wires crossed. They can also help the novice put across the message from spirit in a proper and ethical manner, without upsetting anyone in the congregation.
If there is a beginner who is reluctant to come back from their meditative journey, then the experienced medium will step in. They can help sort most problems within the circle as they have so much experience themselves. If you have no personal experience, how can you know what is happening, let alone sort it out!
I once had a ‘student’ in my church development circle, who was giving ‘messages’ that came from church gossip and not from spirit like she made out. I overheard a person telling her about a relatives illness in great detail.
My advice here is to keep your own counsel when at a church. Do not give out personal information which may come back to you as a message. The genuine mediums will not do this, they have too much respect for themselves and for spirit.
During the circle the person tried to give this ‘message’ dressed up as if it was from the spirit world. I was experienced enough to ask her who her spirit link was, and as she didn’t have one, she did not know what to say. She did not have any such link, either psychic or spiritual, and I asked her to leave the circle. The student was a bad example to other students.
Gossip, in my 25 years experince of the church, is often given in circles by those who cannot link with spirit. They think it makes them look good but it just saddens those who know better. If you are not a medium please do not pretend to be. You are kidding yourself, but not kidding spirit. You will have to answer to spirit at the time of your transition.
If therefore you decide to join any circles, be it privately or in a church, always check the credentials of the group leader. Ask the committee about the circle and the person running it, or other members of any private group. If in doubt, please, do not join.
