Yes, there is a difference between working psychically and working with the Spirit. Simple, when you know what it is, but puzzling for those who do not.
Psychic awareness has to be developed in order to be able to communicate with spirits, though it is true to say that you can be psychic without being mediumistic.
To be a good medium, the psychic gift must be well developed and the ability to tune in to the spirit entities must be there. Not everyone has this gift. It takes years to develop properly and dedication is most important. It is not a game, nor indeed, entertainment. It is not a way to get rich quick, or in fact, get rich at all. If you wish to make big money then this is probably not the life for you.

It is my belief that we are all Spirit and all come from the Spirit World. From the first moment of our earthly conception, we are joined by a ‘guide’, or you may prefer to think of it as a guardian angel. This ‘guide’ stays with us throughout our earthly existence and helps guide us through the cycles of learning which we have chosen to undertake. The angel is usually referred to as a ‘guide’.
 
In life you will realise that the lessons we have to learn will keep coming around again and again. If we do not deal with a particular problem in the correct way, to solve it instead of muddle through it, then it will return again in some other form. The cycle does not break until you have learned the lesson properly and can prevent the same thing happening again. Our angel will try to inspire us to do the right thing. If we choose to ignore the inspiration of the guide, it is at our own folly.
 
A typical example of this would be: you get into a financial mess by taking a quick route, maybe by robbing Peter to pay Paul. Sooner or later, things catch up with you again and this time it is worse still. You borrow money to throw at the problem and it is just a waste as things get progressively worse.
 
Finally, the angel inspiration gets through to you and makes you realise your habits must change. You take a long hard look at your budget and see that you have far too many out-goings that do not correlate to the in-comings. You get a financial adviser to sort out your mess and explain to you the best way to go forward.
 
The cycle is then broken at last. The lesson learned. Your life is in better order and you can concentrate on other lessons.  Thank Spirit for your guardian angel.

I wish to share my thoughts on life after death with you, as this is the basis of my teachings.
There MUST be life after death, for a medium cannot communicate with those entities who have passed over, if there is not a life after death, to me this is a FACT. As a medium, my aim is to give proof of its existence to as many people as possible. I have been a Spiritualist clairvoyant medium since the early 1980s, and I teach others to develop their spiritual gifts in development classes and workshops.

Most religions are based on a life after death belief, which has to be taken on faith. As a Spiritualist, I have life after death proven to me time and time again. I don’t have to take it on faith. I know! I feel very lucky.

I believe that our ‘death’ is but a transition from this sphere to another one, which happens to be the Spirit World. The spirit or soul, survives our human body and moves on to a ‘higher’ existence. One can imagine this by thinking of going out of one room and into another by way of a door. The body is left behind to be buried or cremated, as there is no further use for it: it is just a mantle for the earthly life we live, but one by which we will be remembered by our loved ones on this earth plane.

We will also be remembered for our spirit, our nature, our temperament, our soul. The way we led our lives and the way we treated others. These qualities, the good and the bad, the positive and the negative, will remain in our spirit as we strive to be a better or near perfect soul. We have to atone for the bad deeds, but we will be rewarded for the good ones, if not on the Earth plane, then when we get back to the Spirit World. What goes around comes around, as they say.
