Christmas is a time when good will and kind thoughts are sent around the world, regardless of any persons creed or beliefs. It matters not what religion you are as kind thoughts translate into any belief.

As far back as anyone can remember, there has been a time when kind thoughts were shared around and good deeds done by most people who cared.

Spare a thought this year for all the families who live in wore torn countries and don’t know when their next food is coming from or even thier clothing. There are lots of countries who do not have clean water or decent food to eat.

We may not have lots of money to share around all these folk, but kind thoughts and prayers are free to send around the world and always seem to make a difference.

We should all be thankful for all the times we can spend with our families and know that they are happy and well. Believe in the positive things in life and who knows where they may lead us.

I am sorry I have not had time to give this blog my full attention for the past week or so. I intend to rectify this.

In the meantime I want you to know that Carole is progrressing well with her chemo and keeping her spirits up.

It is always good to know that other people care enough to send out positive heling thoughts to you when you are in need.

I wish to thank you all for the healing I am receiving myself. Take care and keep up the good work.

There was a nice comment posted on the 30 October blog named Healing. It is from Carole’s sister and she is letting us know that the Chemotherapy has started.

To read the comment for yourself go down to the posting and click on the ‘comment’ part at the bottom of the post. You will then be able to read it in full. It is nice to get some feedback about her.

Please keep up the healing and sending your positive thoughts out. It is helping, and we must trust that these thoughts and prayers are doing good. Keep believing!

There are lots of opportunities in and around Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, to see good mediums and psychics around this time of year. Not to mention the rest of the UK.

It doesn’t have to cost a lot, as there are many Spiritualist churches where mediums work for free, and all it costs the congregation is a free will offering to the collection plate. Unless it is a special event to raise funds for a particular project, in which case they often sell tickets at a modest price. In my experience this is never usually more than £3 or £4.

There are also a lot of private circles and groups which have been set up by mediums and psychics who are not linked to the churches. These too are usually modestly priced.

On my website www.BarbaraBiggin.com there is a link to all the Spiritualist Churches in the UK and links to others Worldwide, including Canada and the USA and Australia.  Take a look at the site, it is entirely free.

When you find a local church on the list, there will either be a link to their own website or at the very least a phone number of the secretary. You can find out who is speaking there and what date and time the event is. Give it a try and don’t forget to let me know about your experience of it.

By sharing your thoughts and comments here on this blog or on my website, you are helping others find their way around and pointing them in the direction of the good speakers rather than the others.

As ever, I thank you for your participation and look forward to posting your comments.

Halloween is celebrated on October 31st.  Halloween activities include trick or treating, ghost tours, and costume parties.  Visiting so called haunted sites, carving lanterns out of pumpkins or turnips and  watching horror films are also popular.

Halloween is celebrated in many countries of the Western world, mostly in the USA, Canada, Ireland and the UK.  In the UK it is only in the recent past that it has become popular. We seem to have copied the Americans.

There is often a lot of fun put into the event but sometimes there is mischief. I don’t mean the sort created by ghosts either, it seems to be the human element that sees it as a cause for mischief making.

I would like to know your opinions on this subject. Do you see any obvious reason why ghosts or spirits would see the 31st of October as a reason to come out and haunt earthlings?

There is no time in the Spirit World, so why would they mark this particular date? Or any other date for that matter, except perhaps dates which have a personal link to their time on this Earth.

I know there is folk lore about the event but there is no natural reason. I cannot envisage the spirits in the Spirit World suddenly saying ‘Oh, its Halloween, we had better get out and start haunting the humans’!

You of course are welcome to your beliefs just as I am and therefore, I look forward to your responses on this subject.

Of real interest would be any personal experiences of halloween hauntings. Or any hauntings, on any dates, if you have some evidence to share. I of course will share all interesting comments with all my readers.

I am now back home again and feeling much better after all the absent healing I have been getting.

The week started off with hands on healing last Sunday, before we set off for Norfolk, and I have been having absent healing for the days I have been away.

Both types of healing have been very beneficial and I only wish every one could be lucky enough to benefit from a healer like John. He has a tremendous gift and the healing energy which comes from him is very strong.

Those of you who put the names of your sick loved ones  on my website healing list will benefit from such healing. It will be interesting to share your experience with others who read my blog and website.

Remember, it costs you nothing to join in and my website is also free to all. I am looking forward to your emails and comments. Thank you all for taking part, as a healer or as a patient.
